JUNIOR SPRING PROGRAM
Welcome to the spring junior tennis program for the Denver Tennis Club. The teaching staff at the DTC is well prepared and looking forward to helping your child learn the sport of a lifetime with us. The spring program is the start of what will be a great tennis year and we hope your junior can join us. We have spring programs that offer tennis for every age in the junior division. It's never to early to get started in tennis. The Denver Tennis Club offers tennis for 4-5 year olds on Mondays or Fridays from 11:00-11:45. The program will use QuickStart tennis and an experienced staff to give your child a wonderful first experience in tennis. Positive encouragement and hand/eye coordination activities will be stressed . A maximum of 10 students allowed so please sign up early.

"SUPERSTAR QUICKSTART"
Wednesdays (4:00-4:45) Ages 5-7
This program has been a popular program at the DTC for over 20 years. We make tennis fun and a great learning experience. This year we will begin to add the QuickStart teaching equipment and balls to help the junior to learn faster and easier. This program is for 5-7 year olds and will be the stepping stone to moving into the 10 & Under learning to play program (Future Stars). The staff will encourage stroke production and learning the fundamentals to prepare to play the game. Maximum of 30 participants so sign up early.
Wednesdays (4:00-4:45) Ages 5-7

"FUTURE STAR" AFTER-SCHOOL TENNIS
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays (4:00-5:30) Ages 8-15
This program is for 8-15 year olds and offers instruction to levels from beginner to advanced intermediate. Instruction will concentrate on stroke production and drills to practice these techniques. The 10 & Under juniors will be using quickstart balls and equipment to assist in learning. Classes will be split by age and ability but older kids will not be placed down into the younger groups because of ability. There will also be several opportunities for the student to practice playing situations during the clinic and after. It is our goal to improve the students game and give them a real love for the sport. The session includes 1 hours of free ball machine for each participant.

Get ready for 2012 summer junior team tennis this spring. Every Monday afternoon we will hold Interclub practice for 8-12 year olds. This will be an intense drill session to get our players prepared for the summer and involvement in junior team tennis. The drills will encourage stroke production and drills to develop playing skills. The 10 and unders will be playing with QuickStart balls and nets in preparation for the upcoming season. We will encourage free play activities and ball machne practice to prepare for summer competition. You must be a DTC member or join the club to participate in this program.
