In the past, a new member paid an initiation fee along with annual dues at the time they joined.
The Board of Directors, to encourage new memberships, has changed that policy by making it more feasible financially to join.
The annual dues that a new member would have paid upon joining will be waived until January of the following year, which is our calendar year for annual dues payments.
Examples:
1. If you were to join between Jan. 1 - July 31 you would pay an initiation fee of $750. Your first payment for annual dues of $590 would not incur until the following January.
2. If you were to join between Aug. 1- Dec. 31 (pro-rated dues of 1/2 off become active) you would pay $750 for the initiation fee. Your first payment for your pro-rated 1/2 off dues would not incur until the following January.
The new member will recieve their certificate of ownership in the Club, after they have paid their first annual dues.
As some of the new member prospects may not be completely familiar with the Denver Tennis Club, below is a partial list of club features:

two clay courts
two soft carpet courts (these look like hard courts, but are much softer)
8 post-tension hard courts
Water jugs & benches (w/ sun protection canopies) on all courts
