Welcome to the DTC Junior Tennis Program!
At Denver Tennis Club, our junior program is designed to ignite a love for tennis while developing confident, respectful, and well-rounded young athletes. Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to compete at a high level, our program offers a fun, structured environment tailored to each age and ability level.
Our Core Values
Joy & Growth: We believe tennis should be joyful. Through play and guided instruction, we help each child grow both as a player and a person.
Consistency & Commitment: We emphasize the importance of showing up, trying your best, and trusting the process over outcomes.
Character First: Sportsmanship, listening, and respect are woven into every session—on and off the court.
Coaching with Care: Our professional coaches bring energy, expertise, and individualized attention to every class.
Building Community: Your kids are not just part of a class—they’re part of a culture. One that thrives on smiles, teamwork, and a shared love of the game.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What does my child need to bring to class?
A: Just a water bottle, athletic shoes, and a positive attitude! We provide all the tennis balls and equipment. If your child has a racquet, great—if not, we have loaners available.
Q: What level does my child need to be to join?
A: All levels are welcome! Classes are grouped and coached according to age and ability. We create an inclusive environment that meets kids where they are—whether they’re picking up a racquet for the first time or rallying consistently.
Q: Can I drop my child off early or pick them up late?
A: Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early and plan to pick up promptly at the end of class. Coaches are not responsible for supervision outside of scheduled class times.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: We will notify you via email and/or text as soon as a class is canceled due to weather. Make-up dates are already built into the session and will be used if needed.
Q: What if my child has to miss a class?
A: Unfortunately, we can’t offer make-ups for individual absences, but each session includes one designated make-up day in case of weather-related cancellations.
Q: How do I register?
A: Email Tommy at tommy@denvertennisclub.com to check availability and get the registration link. Sessions fill up fast, so we encourage early sign-ups!
Q: Are non-members allowed to join?
A: Yes! We welcome non-members into our junior programs as space allows. It’s a great way to try the DTC community and see if it’s the right fit for your family.
Q: What if my child is nervous or has never played tennis before?
A: That’s completely normal—and totally okay. Our coaches are trained to work with first-timers and will make sure your child feels welcome, supported, and successful on court.
